To get to know these great K-pop cover singer, we have interviewed each member who has participated in this event!

Meet Veedantii, a student from India who sings with an adorable and addictive voice!

When did you start making cover videos?
Ever since I was young, I've always liked to sing. I remember my parents used to film me singing and share it with relatives and friends. I used to sing in school plays and was even a part of the school choir but it was only around 2016 when I opened a Youtube channel and started uploading proper covers.

What do you do besides being an awesome singer?
I'm your average college student!! I major in Psychology and English lit.

What was your first cover song?
My first cover song was an acoustic one of 's 'If You'. I barely knew how to play the guitar then and recorded the whole thing with my phone!!

What kind of music do you cover besides K-pop?
I started my Youtube channel with the mind of covering K-pop songs. I guess it was because the whole K-pop fan culture was so vibrant and inviting. I might cover a few English songs here and there, but otherwise, I tend to gravitate towards covering K-pop songs more.

When making cover videos, what's the most important thing you do/check?
It is always important to first warm up your voice before making any cover. I also prepare myself mentally and make notes of what I'd like to incorporate in the song and the video itself.

Who's your favorite artist to cover? And why?
I'd definitely say . First of all, their songs are really easy and soothing to listen to. Its also relatively easy to reconstruct their songs to either a ballad or an acoustic version and still preserve their true essence.

Can you briefly tell us what kind of equipment(mic, program, camera, etc.) you use for you cover videos?
I use the Blue Snowball microphone to record and Adobe Audition to mix vocals/instrumentals. As for the videos, I use my faithful phone camera.

How long does it take for you to prepare for a cover song and what are the preps you do?
It depends from song to song. Sometimes it can take as little as 2-3 hours to record and mix or a few days till I finish the recording process.

Is there any good tip that you can share to sing well?
I don't consider myself to be a great singer, but even then I'd say practice. Also learning a few vocal exercises was a great help to me. However, I'd recommend not to strain yourself too much, take a good amount of rest in between and of course, drink lots of water!

What is your goal this year?
Make more K-pop covers! And hopefully, challenge and improve my singing in the process.

What does K-pop mean to you?
In simple words, K-pop is like home to me. I know that may sound corny, but it is when I'm listening to music that I feel most at peace. Not only that, but it's also through K-pop that I got to interact with people from all over the world and even learn a new language! And of course it is through K-pop that I got to be part of this amazing project. K-pop is not just music but a whole culture itself and there's always something positive to take from it.
