Being a new K-Pop fan can be tough sometimes as there are just so many contents to catch up and things to know. If you have just started your journey as a K-Pop fan, we would first of all welcome you into the community.
Last week, Kpopmap had touched on the 1st part of how K-Pop fans celebrate their favorite idols' birthday. Today, we will be sharing some of the different things fans do and prepare such as contributing back to the society to celebrate their birthday. Some of the more common events are volunteer work and also presenting them with gifts.
#1 Volunteer work
Volunteer work comes in various forms and it is something that everyone can participate in! To give a brief outline, some of the volunteer work includes planting trees, donating blood or even picking up litter along the beach. They would do this under the name of the K-Pop idol.
For events such as blood donation, some Korean fansites had also collaborated with the Korean Red Cross to assist the volunteer work. After completing such activities, many fans also find a sense of fulfillment.
#2 Monetary donation
