It seems mandatory for a K-Pop idol to study music, dance, or any entertainment-related subject in university. But we're wrong to think this way. After all, K-Pop idols mostly foster their natural talent, and many of them got to where they are now without taking any classes related to their idol career during their university years.
Many K-Pop idols are very knowledgeable about various subjects, and that could be due to their university major. While it seems like surprising majors for K-Pop idols, those are very common majors for others. Business, law, or even tourism, we hear about those majors all the time, but we never thought that these 9 K-Pop idols studied that back in university.
1. DAY6's Young K - Business Administration
If you know of the band Day6, you probably never imagined that one of their members majored in business administration. Young K did, adding another talent on top of the others. He graduated from DongGuk University, and even if this college offered film or other entertainment-related majors, Young K followed a different path. But it still led him to us in the end.
2. SF9's InSeong - Communication
Considering SF9 members' very diverse personalities, you probably expected one of them to have had a unique major back in university. InSeong majored in communication at KyungHee University. This probably explains why he is so good at English, after all, language is the first form of communication!
