We're only a month and a half into 2023 and it is already turning out to be a promising year for K-Pop. There's a brand new boy group aiming to revolutionize the K-Pop industry and it is none other than 8TURN!
8TURN is a rookie K-Pop group made up of 8 members (namely JAE YUN, MIN HO, YOON SUNG, MYUNG HO, HAE MIN, KYUNG MIN, YUN GYU, and SEUNG HEON) under MNH Entertainment that recently made their highly-anticipated debut on January 30, 2023, with the mini-album "8TURNRISE", garnering interest from K-Pop fans all over the world, effectively announcing their full-fledged entry into the scene.
For those who might not know, 8TURN is the first boy group under MNH Entertainment, and the members were selected from the audition program “WAG (World Audition for Guys)". Out of the eight members, KYUNG MIN was a contestant on "I-LAND", and JAE YUN appeared on "BOYS24" and "MIXNINE".
Even though it hasn't even been a month since their debut, 8TURN has already managed to attract attention for their unique musical style, raising our expectations for the group's future and limitless potential. With the promise of following their own path and unlocking infinite possibilities, 8TURN is ready to make a mark in the music industry.
In light of 8TURN's successful debut, Kpopmap had the incredible opportunity of interviewing the young artists as they take their first step into the world of K-Pop. The conversation that followed radiated the group's refreshing and lively energy and also gave us a glimpse into their dreams and aspirations.
