The drama adaptation is well-made, with a solid cast of actors and not-so-jarring CGI that allows for immersion. The acting is incredible, to say the least, especially coming from some fantastic rookie actors alongside more experienced artists. The aspect of black comedy is replaced by a slice-of-life format which helps to retain the gravity of the situation at hand, and the emotional stakes get higher and higher with each episode. It is important to note that the drama does take creative liberties and diverts from the webtoon in some parts. Either way, "Duty After School: Part 1" is an addictive watch that is best binged.
