"True Beauty" is one of the most popular dramas of the moment starring Moon GaYoung, ASTRO's Cha EunWoo, and Hwang InYeop.
Most of the scenes are taking place at the high school and at the comic book rental store but there are also other locations.
"True Beauty" aired only five episodes but the various filming locations caught our attention. Here are 6 filming locations of the drama that appeared in the first episodes.
1. Yonsei University, Seoul
Yonsei University is one of the three most famous universities of South Korea. A part of the drama is filmed at the campus's most-famous building named the Underwood Hall. It is very easy to access if you are visiting Seoul.
Interestingly this was also one of the filming locations of "Extraordinary You" directed by the same director Kim SangHyub.
2. Near by Duksung Women University, Yunposun-gil, Seoul
The comic book rental store where Moon GaYoung and Cha EunWoo meet is located in the street Yunposun-gil, close to Duksung Women University. It seems to be a cafe but it might be closed now.
3. Comcom Oraksil, Ikseondong, Seoul
When the three girls (Moon GaYoung, Park YooNa, and Kang MinAh) went out to have fun, it was at the Comcom Oraksil in the streets of Ikseondong. It is a retro game arcade. For more about it, you can check their website here (Korean only).
The pretty streets, delicious restaurants, and original shops of Ikseondong are popular among young people.

4. Sonkijeong Culture and Sports Center, Seoul
According to various sources, Cha EunWoo was spotted filming a scene where he was cleaning there. Also, the crew has filmed other scenes in this building.

5. Myeongdong streets, Seoul
Moon GaYoung first met Hwang InYeop in the streets of Myeongdong where he was biking. Some bike scenes were also taken in Sinchon main streets.

6. Hongdae Su Noraebang, Seoul
After studying, they all went for noraebang and this is where Moon GaYoung met Hwang InYeop. This was filmed in front of the Su Luxury Noraebang in Hongdae.
