K-Pop idols are dedicated to their craft and idol activities but that does not mean they are not allowed to explore other opportunities for their career. Idols can go down the routes of becoming models, social media influencers and actors. The latter has become especially common with many idols, some even shifting their focus towards acting full-time in K-Dramas and films while occasionally promoting as an idol. GOT7’s JinYoung, ASTRO’s Cha EunWoo, 2PM’s TaecYeon and Suzy are just some of the countless idols currently working in the industry as both actors and idols and have garnered praise for their acting abilities.
