Netflix has done it again and added another impressive hit to its ever-growing catalogue of K-Content. On October 6th, "Ballerina" made its highly anticipated premiere onto the streaming site, mesmerizing audiences all across the globe. Leading up to its release, via the platform's official social media accounts, there were countless teasers in the form of posters, small highlights, and cast reactions.
The gritty action film employs a cast featuring Jun JongSeo, Kim JiHun, and Park YooRim. The story revolves around Ok Joo (Jun JongSeo), a former bodyguard with a firm mastery in martial arts, gunmanship, motorcycle riding and much more. Through a final request from her ballerina friend, Choi MinHee (Park YooRim), Ok Joo seeks to exact revenge againt Choi Pro (Kim JiHun).
The roughly hour and a half long movie was riveting from the start, raising the heartrates of viewers everywhere. It had a mixture of drama, action, and a clear distinction between good and evil that needed to be kept in check. Overall, the movie absolutely delivered, but don't just take our word for it!
