The Mnet survival show "Boys Planet" has finally come to an end with the announcement of the final debuting boy group. The show had invited aspiring idols from all over the world (divided into Korean and Global divisions) to compete for a spot in a 9-member boy group that will perform on global stages.
The show is the male equivalent of the survival show "GIRLS PLANET 999" which had a similar concept but with a focus on Korean, Japanese, and Chinese trainees. The resulting girl group from the show isย Kep1er, which has grabbed global attention with its addictive stage performances. This time was the boys' turn.
Kpopmap had previously written an article featuring some of the fan-favorite contestants from "Boys Planet". Kpopmap readers were able to vote for their favorite contestants on the show. Out of the 22 candidates who were covered in the article, 7 of them managed to make the final lineup.
