Whilst "Celebrity" was extremely fun to watch and had a lot of entertaining moments, it also made a lot of social commentary. It covered topics like wealth gaps, power dynamics, educational gaps, and more. It also showed the dark sides behind the lives of the rich and famous, who are often the object of admiration.
For example, one of the scenes that stuck out to many viewers was of CNBLUE Kang MinHyuk's character, Han JunKyung, coming home and having his shoes taken off for him by a maid without disrupting his walk
