In this generation of Korean entertainment, celebrities are no longer restrained to appear just on variety programs hosted by the various broadcasting companies. New doors have opened, offering K-Pop idols, actors, and the like to create their own YouTube series or guest across various channels.

Over the past few months, YouTube variety show "Pongkult" has been gaining traction for its refreshing interview style and hilarious hosting by comedian Lee SooJi. With the addition of MIRAE's Son DongPyo as co-host, the YouTube program looks to only increase in comedic quality, gaining fans from all spectrums of Korean entertainment. In their most recent episode, they invited soloist Lee ChaeYeon as a guest.

Here are some highlights from the wildly entertaining YouTube variety.

1. ChaeYeon Remaining In Character

For those that may not know, ChaeYeon took on the concept of a vampire for her solo debut. She continued with this persona into her most recent comeback. So, when DongPyo and SooJi were reading her profile, her age turned out to be 325 years old. ChaeYeon confidently confirmed it as fact without any hesitation. Although the two hosts were taken aback by her answer, ChaeYeon continued her act throughout the beginning of the interview. Her seriousness and genuine expressions would make anyone believe her claim as a full-fledged vampire.

2. ChaeYeon And DongPyo's Sibling Energy

Although they're not from the same group or even the same company, some idols share a one-of-a-kind chemistry with one another that's just entertaining to watch. ChaeYeon and DongPyo match each other's energy levels from the very start of the program. Their chemistry together is hilarious, reminiscent of blood-related siblings. Their bickering, along with their give-and-take reactions are pure gold and will have you laughing up a storm. We can only imagine the fun chaos that would ensue if they became actual co-hosts or fixed members of a show.

3. ChaeYeon's Personal Talents

As with most variety show programs, ChaeYeon was asked to show some of her personal talents. They included a buffering Shin-chan, an impression of a famous commercial, and replicating various machine sounds. It was absolutely hilarious to watch as the staff reacted positively to her personal talents while the two hosts wore expressions of disbelief. Watching her display these talents will have you smiling from ear to ear.
